What You’ll Do

Stay22 is looking for a Business Development Manager that can bring on new partnerships to our business. You will bring your creativity, cleverness, and business development aptitudes to our business. We are a fast-growing company and are seeking a bold individual to jump on board with us. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will be tasked to research and data input new leads, as well as completing partial sales cycles, including cold emails/calls. In this capacity, you will work closely with the sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Reach out by email and phone to new potential prospects from our CRM, from Montreal to Sydney!
  • Perform research to find new leads, whether it’s from Apollo, Google, or any other means
  • Run full sales cycle with smaller clients/inbounds
  • Perform Customer Success related tasks (email/phone follow-ups)
  • Ensure your sales activities are logged properly in the CRM
  • Attend International Events and Ticketing conferences
  • Entertain international and local client
  • Help with any other tasks that might arise
  • But more seriously: Help closing deals!


Requirements:

  • Solid experience in a Business Development Manager position or similar role
  • Experience and comfort with cold calls
  • Ability to go above and beyond
  • A high level of autonomy
  • A tech-savvy personality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A curious mind, constantly looking to learn new things
  • A sincere desire to contribute to a promising startup’s success!


Nice to have:

  • Fully bilingual, French and English
  • Knowledge of the tourism and/or event industry
  • Experience in Hubspot or other CRM
  • Highly familiar with virtual communication tools
  • Business acumen
  • Experience working with embedded web products
