What you’ll do in this role:

We’re growing rapidly and are in the process of solidifying our hiring infrastructure, process and employer brand, but feel the need to hire a full-cycle recruiter in-house to help us source awesome folks for our more difficult to hire roles - namely senior engineers and other niche experts. Our next teammate will partner with our hiring leads, help scope out job profiles, and engage the talent market.We’ve started to compile a number of employer branding and recruitment marketing assets, so our next teammate will not be working from a blank page, and we’ll be launching a new careers page shortly. We suspect that our new teammate will end up spending about half of their time sourcing and the other half of their time interviewing talent and driving our hiring process forward. We’ve yet to commit to any sourcing tools, but we’re open to hearing ideas and recommendations from our new teammate.

Requirements: We’re looking for someone that…

  • Has at least three years of full cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a rapidly growing tech or startup environment.
  • Is an excellent communicator, and is ideally fluently bilingual (English/French).
  • Is comfortable working in office at least 3 days per week.
  • Is outcomes-driven, an active listener, takes accountability for their actions, and is very organized.
  • Acts with urgency, are coachable, and prioritizes delivering positive experiences to all parties at every touchpoint.
